Product details change. This page was checked against Wispr Flow's official website or documentation on 2026-08-17.

Wispr Flow officially supports 64-bit Windows 10 and later. The Windows release provides system-wide AI dictation rather than a browser-only experience.

Windows requirements

Wispr's current help documentation lists an Intel Core i3 or AMD Ryzen 3 class processor or better, at least 4 GB RAM with 8 GB recommended, 500 MB of free storage, a microphone, and an internet connection.

Install Flow on Windows

  1. Download the Windows installer from the official page.
  2. Run the installer and finish the setup prompts.
  3. Sign in through the browser when Flow asks.
  4. Complete microphone access and the onboarding dictation.
  5. Test the shortcut in Notepad before using it in a live document.

If the main page enters a redirect loop, Wispr's official help center lists https://dl.wisprflow.ai/windows/latest as the direct current installer.

Common checks

If Flow hears nothing, confirm the intended microphone is the Windows default input and that desktop apps have microphone permission. If text does not appear, test in a standard editable field and check whether security software or device management blocks accessibility-style input.

For organization-managed computers, contact IT before changing security settings. Enterprise administrators may deploy Flow centrally, and local installation can be restricted by policy.
